Universal Healthcare Passes: March 21st, 2010

Well it’s official folks and I am quite livid right now. Here are my thoughts:

• Bart Stupak is a fucking scumbag. Most politicians are crooked, but this really does take the cake.
• Barack Obama just punched his one term presidency ticket with this healthcare bill. I have always had a strong dislike for the democratic, but now I have a borderline hate for the party. The democratic party is no a party, but a socialist cult.
• Corporate business will suffer. GUARANTEED. One such example of this is one of the new healthcare mandates for businesses with over 50 employees. If your company has over 50 employees, you are required by law, to provide healthcare to every employee whether it be part time or full time. If you do not abide by this, you will be fined $2000 per employee per year. One company that comes to mind that will be affected by this is Home Depot (HD). Expect shares to fall tomorrow.
• I have always said in the past how Obama was trying to run this country into bankruptcy jokingly because I thought a good portion of our democratic politician in congress had a brain larger than a rat’s. We are in the worst recession since the great depression and we just tacked on another trillion dollars to the balance sheet.

I really do have alot more on my mind but I am just too flustered to think. As far as trading is concerned, I am planning to liquidate alot of my equity in the stock market and potentially move it into some short term bonds, or high dividend defensive companies for a while.
