Sorry for the lack of updates but as a short seller, this hasn’t really been the time to pull the trigger…just yet. I have talked to Justin Shade, another one of the team members and although we have discussed numerous times on when to start purchasing puts and selling calls, we both thought it was in our best interest to hold steady. As a result, I have seen some decent gains in my equity accounts and I haven’t short sold anything in almonth 4-5 months (Hard to believe, I know). Although Senor Shade has purchased a few call options, it wasn’t really big enough to post on this forum.
I have people asking me all over when I am going to start short selling and the answer is still unclear to me but for now, I am enjoying some very nice gains across the board. It still puzzles me very much on why this gain in global markets is STILL going on:
“Hey we were expected to lose 10 cents a share, but we only lost 8″
