Still Working On It: April 5th, 2009
April 5, 2009 – 10:46 pmI am still working on my laptop and it seems that we have narrowed it down to a power supply problem. Even then, I may have to just buy a new laptop for a few reasons:
1) My laptop is an Acer.
2) I need a new battery and power cable, which would cost me over 300 dollars combined. The laptop itself new, was about 500. Since then I had to replace the hard drive and RAM.
3) I want a new laptop
Now as some of you may already know, the big news this weekend has been IBM’s retraction of their seven billion dollar offer for Sun microsystems. Looking at futures, they are looking healthy as of this hours even in light of the news. Perhaps the opening bell will show us otherwise.
