Wait and see: January 28th, 2009

I am sort of in a wait and see mode. When the opening bell rings tomorrow, there won’t be any specific companies I will be looking at, but more along the lines of tightening up stops and closing out positions to lock in gain.

Lets take a quick look at our new staple for this website, the E-mini S&P futures contracts. I bought a few put options contracts based on the resistance we are viewing on the futures chart as well as some overhead resistance on the companies I did end up buying the options on.

Here are the two companies I purchased the put options on. First, we have Devon Energy (DVN)
