My current asset allocation: October 27th, 2008

October 27, 2008 – 3:16 pm

Here is how my assets are currently allocated in all my accounts except my IRA. As of today’s close I am fully long equities with less than 5% cash left in my account. If I get burned, so be it as I will have to pay for my impatience and take some losses. There is a slight glimmer of hope to my madness though….and take a look at what I own. Do you see one speculative name in the bunch beside the dry goods shipper, which constitutes less than 3% of my portfolio? Now as you can see I am very commodities and energy heavy, something I have preached in the past week or so as the money making opportunity of a lifetime once we bottom. The bottom may not be this week but I hope to take some short term gain from some of these plays.

  2. my prediction for the week the asian markets will get blown away when they open huge sell off tomorrow morning mite see capitulation in early trading ,, small bounce from the capitulation and the fed rate cut and thursday friday massive sell-off jobless claims on thursday and friday end of the month and hedge fund redemptions and massive liquidations not to mention going to the weekend nobody wants to buy and hold anything ,,, then next week we start a fresh new week the rally will blow people away just like braking the sound barrier
