Market Overview: July 28th, 2008

July 28, 2008 – 3:12 pm

A beautiful day in the red for the two stocks I have been watching closely to buy into, Apple (AAPL) and Goldman Sachs (GS). An absolutely ugly day in financials acted as the catalyst for the widespread downward movement. My target to buy into Apple is around $130-$135 and my target for Goldman Sachs is about $150-$165. In one of my previous posts, I stated not to buy financials because of days like this. Financials are far from bottoming. If you have the cajones to pull the trigger, then shorting financial institutions would be a great play. Major banks would be the best target. Thanks for reading.
